2020 Mitsubishi Mirage vs 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4

Serving New Bern, NC

The Mitsubishi line holds truly excellent models for you to consider for your next small car purchase. The Mirage is a four-door hatchback that is based on a model introduced in 1978. The Mirage G4 is another option. This is a four-door sedan that is loosely comparable to the Mirage. Our Riverside Mitsubishi associates are always available to assist with your model comparison and selection.

Performance

Regardless of whether you choose to drive the Mirage hatchback or the Mirage G4 sedan, your 2020 model will be equipped with an I-3, 1.2-liter engine that generates 78 horsepower. The lower trim levels for both models have a five-speed manual transmission, and the rest of the trims come with a continuously variable transmission. Other equipment is comparable to both models as well. This includes 14-inch to 15-inch wheels, rear drum brakes, ventilated front disc brakes, rack-and-pinion electric power steering, a torsion beam rear suspension system, and a MacPherson front strut.

Appearance

The Mirage hatchback has a slightly lower base MSRP than the Mirage G4 sedan. It also has a noticeably smaller wheelbase and length. However, these models do share a few design traits. The Mirage hatchback has a modest grille that curves up slightly at the edges. It is separated from the large headlights and from the chrome-accented lower fascia. The hood has a mild definition, and it angles almost flawlessly into the slanted windshield. The sides show off deep sculpture with a stunning angle, and this scoop is accented by a crisp, angled personality line that runs across both doors. The liftgate at the rear runs almost vertically to create a relatively flat surface. The Mirage G4 shares its side design elements with the Mirage hatchback. While they both have a small grille, the Mirage G4's grille is slightly thicker with more substantial curvature on the bottom. The sedan's hood is prominently angled, and it lacks the personality lines that are on the Mirage hatchback's hood. At the rear, you will find a defined trunk lid.

Features

The similarities between these models continue inside their cabins. There are modest variations in features from trim to trim, but the models have almost identical equipment on a trim-by-trim basis. Some of the features that you may appreciate in your 2020 Mirage or 2020 Mirage G4 are remote keyless entry, a fast entry system, auto climate control, a push-button starter, a USB port, an ECO indicator, Bluetooth wireless tech, HD Radio, voice recognition for the mounted steering wheel functions, a sound system, a rearview camera, up to a 7-inch display screen, smart app integration and other features.

Our Riverside Mitsubishi associates want you to fall in love with your next car. With several trims to explore for both of these models, you should take time out of your day to check out the Mirage and the Mirage G4. Schedule a time to meet with our sales team by calling our office today.
